Damn you! [03 May 2006|03:34pm] ... Marion, snailbones, luna_61, and admiralandrea. What kind of forbidden magic are you using? Last night when I first saw your comments I laughed and thought "Yeah, right", but today the Evil Muse struck. So this is my revenge: Around four years after Deep Water, Blair is about to finish his MA in Anthropology (Jim had convinced him to continue after his BA) and he's riding with Jim as an observer while awaiting acceptance for the Police Academy. All Jim and Blair's plans get thrown for a loop when Blair is offered a position on an expedition to Borneo - which he finds seriously tempting, in spite of his intention of becoming a cop. Jim is further upset when he discovers that Eli Stoddard is not a grandfatherly elder statesman of Anthropology but surprisingly hot (in a scruffy Anthropologist way) and a few years younger than himself. To make matters worse, Blair's involvement in a serial killer case puts him in serious danger. Unfortunately, I have another story (or ten) that I'm working on and I'm not starting anything new until I finish at least one, maybe two of them. Besides, I'll need to let the ideas percolate for a while before I try to write anything. 19 comments|post comment

Thank you :) [02 May 2006|07:06pm] Now that it's finally over, I just wanted to thank you all for joining me in this little experiment. I hope you've all enjoyed it - not just the story, but the way I've presented it in this LJ. I also particularly want to thank the people who've provided feedback. It has helped me improve the story, as you will see if you read it again when it's posted to 852 Prospect and my website.
